No matter who you are or where you've been, you're welcome here!
Many of us felt that way at one time or another, but we at St. Stephen Pres are always excited to see new faces come and be a part of what God is doing.
So whether you are a new to St. Stephen, just searching through church websites attempting to find
something that "clicks" with you, or a long-time church member, we want you to know that you'll always be welcomed at our church with a smiling face and friendly hello. At St. Stephen Pres, our desire is not only that you connect with God on a deeper level, but that you also make connections with those around you.
We hope to make the process of getting to know us as easy as possible and welcome you to join us on Sunday mornings for one of our two worship services (9am – Traditional Service or 11am Contemporary Service) where you can expect:
- A warm welcome from our Guest Ministries team at our Guest Information table and receive information about our church and our service.
- Thought provoking and engaging messages based on the Bible.
- Insightful, time-honored hymns and inspirational choirs during our 9:00am service.
- Uplifting and upbeat praise and worship, and receiving the Lord’s Supper during our 11:00am service.
- A quality Children’s Ministry for all ages during both services.
- Heartwarming fellowship time, meeting and getting to know others between services at the Bridge Fellowship Café.
So here's where all this is going: God is for you, loves you, and wants only the best for you.
We welcome all people and want St. Stephen to be a place of growth for you wherever you are in your journey.
Services start at 9:00 AM (Traditional) and 11:00 AM (Contemporary) and typically last for an hour and 15 minutes. We suggest getting here a few minutes early so that you have time to stop at the Welcome table in front of the sanctuary.
Access to our church campus is convenient and easy to navigate. There are two driveways leading to our outdoor parking lots located on the northbound side of 20121 Devonshire Street. The Sanctuary is easily visible from any parking space you choose. Also, there is a "First Time Visitor" parking section up close to the front sanctuary entrance and we encourage our first time guests to park there.
St. Stephen offers a very casual and relaxed atmosphere. Don't feel like you need to wear anything special to be accepted by us or by God. Come as you are - be who you are! (shorts, jeans, suits, ties, business casual, flip flops, t-shirts - you'll find it all). Just come with an open heart.
St. Stephen loves children! We have an amazing Children and Youth Ministry team who provide a loving, caring, safe, and gospel-centered environment during both services. It is our goal to effectively minister to your child and show them the love of Christ while you are able to enjoy the services without distraction or diversion.
Nursery - The nursery is for infants and toddlers up to age 3 and is conveniently connected to the sanctuary. Parents can check their children before services begin, or bring their infants into the sanctuary. A "cry room" is available in the event your infant becomes unsettled so that you can watch and hear the service from behind sound-proof glass.
Children & Youth - We offer separate children's church services. Children stay with their parents during the first part of the main worship service until the special Children's Time with the pastor after which they depart for Children's Church in the Education Building.
The Bridge Fellowship Café is our complimentary coffee and refreshment bar which opens immediately after the end of the Traditional Service, typically around 10:15 AM. This informal time between services is a great opportunity for regular attendees and guests alike to catch up with friends and meet new ones with coffee and a refreshment or two. All are welcome!
